It was a pleasure to see that a restaurant from one of our own Best Loved hotels has contributed in the creation of ‘Relish Wales Second Helping’. We would also like to congratulate the Cliff Restaurant at St Brides Spa Hotel for demonstrating tremendous talents in creating unpretentious food with flavour to the fore.
The St Brides Spa Hotel located in Wales and is owned by the couple Andrew and Lindsey Evans. The seaside hotel, purchased in 2000, has transformed into one of Wales’ finest Luxury Destination Spa Hotels. With the excellent locations along with the deluxe amenities, the hotel has received numerous outstanding recognitions, such as Best Place to Stay in Wales, Hotel of the Year, Best View in the UK, Shoreline Hotel of the Year and much more.
The Cliff Restaurant, run by head chef Toby Goodwin and supported by his second in command Simon Coe as well as a loyal team, have been working together to bring the freshest and finest dining experience for the guests at St Brides Spa Hotel. The restaurant prepares a wide variety of great local produce such as wild sea bass from Caldey Island and local Manorbier asparagus that are still damp from the field. Head chef Toby also brings to the table the skills and crafts which he took on when he was learning in Ascot and Stratford.
