Princely Aberdeenshire Exclusive Use Retreat on the Doorstep of Balmoral

Raemoir House Awards

VisitScotland [TB star][TB star][TB star][TB star] Country House

It is no wonder that the Royal Family's favourite holiday retreat is situated in the glorious landscape of Scotland's Aberdeenshire.  Escape with your family and friends to your very own Balmoral at Raemoir House, a privately-owned Georgian country mansion which is one of Royal Deeside's finest fully staffed and catered exclusive use venues.

As you make your way along the tree-lined drive surrounded by fourteen acres of lush parkland and green lawns, you come to a magnificent Aberdeen granite manor. Inside Raemoir, built in the early 19th century but extensively redeveloped in the Victorian 'Golden Age' of the region, you'll find 18 sumptuous ensuite bedrooms sleeping 34 guests, some with stunning views of the rolling hills and all individually styled. A further four bedrooms are situated in the adjacent and even older Ha' Hoose (Hall House), dating back to from 1690.

The Hill of Fare is directly accessible from the grounds and offers beautiful views of Aberdeenshire all the way to the North Sea.  Beyond the boundaries of this magnificent retreat is a region rich in beauty and heritage, including the famous Whisky, Golf and Castle Trails. Visit Banchory, the bustling gateway to Deeside, or the Granite City itself - the lively and historic Aberdeen. Watch salmon leap for their lives at Falls of Feugh and explore the rich tapestry of Aberdeenshire's many castles. Or simply take in the natural beauty as you stroll along the fairways of the area's 50 Championship golf courses.
