With its rural setting, fabulous bedrooms and private spa facilities this is a place to stay put for some ‘fast track’ relaxation. If you feel in need of a bit of activity you can don your wellies and explore the paths and tracks around about the farm. There is plenty to do, however, for those who would like to explore the Derbyshire Dales. Kedleston Hall, the former home of the Curzon family, is ten minutes away. It tends to be overshadowed by Chatsworth, which is only a 30 minute drive away, yet is a total treasure and an absolute ‘must visit’ whilst you’re in the area. Now owned by the National Trust it is famous for its stunning Robert Adam interiors, which featured in the recent film ‘The Duchess’. If you are planning a visit with children then there is much to do including water sports on nearby Carsington Water, cycle trails and Alton Towers.
