Located just a thirty minute drive from the historic town of Cheltenham, Stonehouse Court is steeped in history. The 17th century Manor House, set in six acres of glorious grounds, is everything you would expect of a grand country house, whilst the more recent wing has been designed to be in keeping with the architectural splendour of the original dwelling.
All of the 36 bedrooms are individually and thoughtfully decorated with modern amenities. Some of these are located in the original Tudor manor and have fireplaces and mullioned windows overlooking the mature gardens and croquet lawns. The highly praised, award-winning Court Brasserie restaurant offers a fine-dining menu – modern European with Eastern influences, as well as lighter bistro meals in the lounge.
A small gym is available for those keen on a daily workout, but for more leisurely pursuits there are superb country walks along the Stroud Water Canal adjacent to the hotel. An arched gateway leads from the end of the garden through to the canal from where you can also explore the countryside beyond.
Whether you are planning a romantic getaway, a summer garden party, a birthday celebration, or a winter wonderland wedding, Stonehouse Court are passionate and proud of their attention to detail.
