Located on the banks of the charming River Exe in the heart of Exmoor, this 16th century inn has been family-owned and run for generations. Speaking of which, the best of the National Park is within easy reach, with a wealth of rare wildlife, pretty walking trails and archaeological sites on the doorstep. The famous picture postcard fishing villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, with its water powered cliff railway, and Porlock with its hill and weir are a short drive away, as are the golden beaches of North Devon, heather moorlands, winding streams and scenic waterfalls.
