The NoMad Hotel is the first international outpost for the brand and is located in the heart of Covent Garden, just opposite the Royal Opera House. Housed in the former Bow Street Magistrates’ Court and Police Station, the iconic 19th-century building has been thoughtfully transformed with much of the original architectural features preserved and woven into the design. The property offers a culture of gracious hospitality combined with understated elegance and comfort. This is the brand’s most intimate property at 91 rooms including 16 suites, centered around several exquisite dining and drinking spaces in the NoMad tradition.
The NoMad Restaurant offers a casually elegant, all-day menu and is set inside a lushly landscaped atrium with a soaring glass ceiling. In addition to the main restaurant, Side Hustle, on the corner where the entrance to the police station once stood, serves an inventive shared plates menu inspired by the freshness and flavors of California and Mexico alongside an extensive menu of agave-base spirits. The Library is a place for guests to unwind, offering respite from the city any time of day, serving light fare, coffee, or even a carafe of wine. A first for NoMad, Common Decency opened in November 2021 and is the hotel’s richly immersive and sultry late-night lounge where a new cocktail program is served amid live entertainment, DJs on vinyl and impromptu performance.
Accommodations offer an understated luxury and residential feel that is distinctly NoMad, including hardwood floors throughout, Carrara marble mosaic bathrooms, Argan bath amenities by Côté Bastide, custom artwork curated by be-poles, fully stocked minibars, complimentary high-speed internet, nightly turndown service, 24-hour room service, and complimentary newspaper delivery on request.
