The Lords of the Manor is a 17th-century country house hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds. Built in 1649, this former rectory stands in eight acres of secluded gardens and parkland in Upper Slaughter, one of the Cotswolds’ prettiest and most unspoilt villages. Comfortable surroundings, big roaring fires, beautifully tended, well-loved gardens and croquet on the lawn create an idyllic setting.

The 3 AA Rosette-winning Atrium at the Lords of the Manor is one of the major culinary destinations in the Cotswolds, and many of the ingredients are sourced from producers in nearby villages. The innovated seasonal tasting menu served in Atrium – the fine dining restaurant – is highly recommended, and the extraordinary cellar has a collection of over 190 bins to satisfy the most discerning of palates. Another option is the relaxed and informal Dining Room, where classic dishes are served with an elegant and luxurious twist.

The bedrooms are a haven of luxurious comfort and have been tastefully preserved with a real sense of style and character. For leisure activities, guests can enjoy a game of croquet or try their hands at coarse fishing on the lake. Riding, golf and game and clay pigeon shooting can be arranged locally.
