A spectacular light show designed by iconic light choreographer Robert Wilson pulses through the hotel’s soaring atrium with ever-changing intensity, mimicking the breaking of waves. Complementing Wilson’s work is star designer Matteo Thun’s eighth-floor lounge, its suggested weightlessness achieved with curved furniture and floating disk lighting with 360-degree views of Hamburg’s rooftops.

The 178 rooms and suites at the SIDE boast a timeless, classic modern design and high quality furnishings. Dark wood in contrast with beige elements and indirect, natural light create a calm, warm atmosphere. The Deluxe Rooms with 31 to 34 square meters are equipped with a 2-meter king sized bed, a 48-inch Loewe 48 inch smart TV and an Illy coffee machine.

Deluxe Rooms promise the highest comfort, amenities include a writing desk, ceiling heating, cooling system and free high speed wifi. The public spaces feature strong color and lush velvets, such as energetic oranges and the warm yellow walls in the restorative spa treatment rooms.
