The head chef personally guarantees that over 80% the ingredients are hand-picked from the best Yorkshire has to offer such as the highly-praised Ginger Pig butcher who farms and prepares the meat only a few miles away. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is a few minutes walk from The White Swan and the 13 th century Pickering Castle and the 18 th century Castle Howard are close by too.
