The hospitality extends to the outdoors, with wellington boots, umbrellas, fishing rods and bikes provided, should you wish to explore the Estate's 33,000 acres of spectacular Yorkshire countryside. Enjoy a walk to ancient Bolton Abbey, past warm Yorkshire teashops and pubs before petting the family dog at the hotel's door on the way back in. The luxurious spa here boasts a pool, steam room, gym and more.

And a Country Seat wouldn't be a Country Seat without a lot of good wine and food. There are two remarkable restaurants to choose from: the vibrant Devonshire Brasserie and Bar and Michelin-starred Burlington Restaurant. The menu is wonderfully inventive - a recent main course included Cumbrian venison loin, black pudding bonbon, pumpkin & lemon, chestnut cannelloni and chocolate. The Burlington inhabits a beautiful room room populated with 250 year-old architectural drawings, and you'll be spoilt with a top class wine list too.
