Quote Best Loved to get the best dealThis authentic 18th century coaching inn is situated on the great Chatsworth Estate. It is one of a number of hotels owned by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and the stylish interiors and use of vibrant, contemporary fabrics is very much the hallmark of the Duchess herself. The bedrooms are luxurious and full of personality and the decor in each is exquisitely tasteful. You'll find generously sized beds, thick bathrobes and a tea tray containing the finest teas and freshly ground coffee. The Peak Dale room has a freestanding, in-room bathtub too. Chef Patron Alan Hill's dishes can be enjoyed either in the traditional 'inn' or in the chic brasserie. The menu includes some great classic dishes such as Mr Hancock's Bangers and Escoffier's Caesar Salad as well as seasonal game caught on the Estate and cooked daily on a rotisserie. This is a truly perfect place for a short break or weekend away. The scenery in Derbyshire is among some of the most beautiful in the country and its limestone landscape draws lovers of outdoor pursuits from far and wide. Chatsworth, regarded as one of the finest great houses in England, is reason alone to visit this part of the world.
