A palace in its own right in the shadow of Conwy Castle

Quote Best Loved to get the best dealThe Castle Hotel is a wonderfully refurbished old coaching inn built where a Cistercian abbey once stood. The hotel has seen visits from Romantic era poets, including lonely-as-a-cloud Wordsworth and a Queen Marie of Romania spent a night or so here many moons ago.
The Castle's bedrooms are all individually designed, and one boasts a 16th century four-poster bed. Although the hotel has preserved its historic look, the bedrooms have been updated to a more contemporary style. Each has its own bathroom and the Caer Rhun Suite even has a two-person Jacuzzi bath. The hotel's restaurant, Dawson's, serves a seasonal menu using local Welsh produce year round. The emphasis is on great food served by friendly staff, who want to look after you.
The Castle Hotel isn't called the Castle Hotel for nothing; it sits just next to Conwy Castle, and this being North Wales, there are many others within easy striking distance. Also nearby are Conwy's quay, excellent arts venues and all the natural glory of Snowdonia National Park.
