Today, 147 years on, Underscar Manor is a family owned and operated country house in the experienced and caring hands of Pauline and Derek Harrison. Its beautiful Victorian restaurant provides award-winning fine cuisine and the breathtaking location is now in the Lake District National Park, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The house, including luxurious self-catering apartments, is surrounded by 40 acres of lush gardens, woodland walks and a cascading stream. You may even be lucky enough to see some red squirrels roaming the grounds.
