Surrounded by landscaped grounds with sub tropical plants and glorious views of the sea, the National Trust's marvellous Porthcurnick beach is a two minute stroll away. At Rosevine, Tim and Hazel Brocklebank have restored style and sophistication to the Cornish coast. The interiors are crisp and uncluttered with white walls, wooden floors, polished period furnishings, simple fabrics and lots of light. Upstairs the house is divided up into self-catering suites and apartments. Each one has its own kitchen (with stocked store cupboard), lounge and dining area. The suites have either small balconies or decked terraces and most of the apartments have French doors which open out on to private terraces. Suites and apartments can be rented by the night or by the week, and The Rosevine is also the perfect spot for exclusive use, whether for a wedding(civil licence in place), or for family and corporate gatherings. Downstairs there's a children's playroom (complete with X-box), a drawing room and colonial-style restaurant which serves 'rustic modern country food'. Prepared dishes and basic provisions can be ordered from their deli service. There's also an indoor pool and, thoughtfully, a laundry. The Roseland peninsula is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of Britain - a place where you can enjoy space, freedom and simple pleasures.
