The Priest House Hotel is situated in a peaceful spot on the banks of the River Trent surrounded by lovely grounds and dense woodland. Whilst only a few miles from East Midlands Airport and Donington Park Racing Circuit, the place is blissfully quiet. Smart modern interiors contrast starkly with the austere baronial exterior. All the bedrooms have a minimalistic feel with clean lines and tasteful, unfussy fabrics and furnishings. The rooms range from the cosy Cottage Rooms, which are located in the oldest part of the property, to the Luxury Suites, which are exquisite. Two of these are situated in the tower and feature fabulous contemporary beds in faux antique gold and silver - it doesn't get more romantic, or decadent, than that. You'll also find the finest cotton sheets, outsized flat screen TVs, bathrobes and luxury toiletries by Gilchrist and Soames. There's a stylish fine dining restaurant with an excellent, well priced menu. The popular Brasserie and Bar serves both traditional favourites such as local Derbyshire beef and potato pie as well as many modern classics. There's also a great riverside terrace for al fresco dining.
