When Neil and Zoë stumbled upon The Grove on a weekend away, it was a matter of love at first sight - so much so that they were determined to buy it there and then. Since that heady day they've ceaselessly worked on creating a special place to stay. This historic Georgian country house gives a warm welcome from the moment you catch sight of it through the ancient beeches that guard the drive. Tucked away on a hillside, overlooking the Preselli's and the market town of Narberth; it offers a charming and relaxing base to enjoy all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. The Grove Country House is warmly and sympathetically decorated with wonderful fabrics, wallpapers and an eclectic sprinkling of local and international art. The restaurant, under the helm of celebrated chef (and previous winner of two Michelin stars) Nigel Marriage, uses the freshest seasonal ingredients to create delicious traditional country food. All bedrooms are spacious and individually decorated enjoying fabulously comfortable beds with the finest quality linen, delicate ceramic fireplaces and large sash windows with wonderful views. In the bathrooms you are pampered with deep cast iron baths, under floor heating and sparkling tiles. There is much to explore nearby as this stunning part of the Welsh coast offers dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches and many fascinating castles.
