Stylish charm in the stunning Guernsey countryside

Explore the beautiful Guernsey countryside at this stylish little15th century farmhouse. The Farmhouse Hotel is in the pretty Parish of St. Saviours and has been owned and run by the Nussbaumer family for three generations. Given a magnificent upgrade, the interior is now a mix of neutral colours, Guernsey granite floors, and luxury contemporary furnishings. There are boutique and superior rooms, as well as suites, all with deluxe bathrooms and flatscreen televisions. Beautiful beams cross these rooms and gorgeous rugs and cushions as well as plants - like peace lilies - keep the place feeling fresh. You'll find small things that make a difference all over - a bottle of port and some homemade biscuits here - a gift because you said it was your birthday there - so you know you're looked after. The hotel has the quirky addition of five individually styled restaurants in a single-floored block, one with a view of the hotel's large outdoor pool. A wealth of food is sourced locally - sea bass and pollock are often delivered to the kitchen the day they're caught, and the gardens here have their own supply of herbs and vegetables. Lovely beach-hut style seating areas have been placed in the palm-lined gardens, giving the place a feel of somewhere further afield. Happily, the Farmhouse is walking distance from idyllic Petit Bot bay.
