Four Star Luxury in the dramatic heart of the Highlands

Situated in nine acres in the heart of the Scenic Scottish Highlands and voted Inverness Hotel of the Year 2006, the Drumossie has a great deal going for it. This Deluxe Four Star hotel has recently undergone extensive... More About Drumossie Hotel refurbishment and is ideally placed for touring the Highlands of Scotland. High on comfort, the en-suite bedrooms are really special with high quality furnishings and Sealy mattresses. Each room has internet connection, satellite TV, mini-bar and all the other things one would expect from a top quality hotel, including a complimentary welcome drink.

The restaurant has been awarded two rosettes by the AA and dishes are both imaginative and well presented. The menus are refreshed on a regular basis to acknowledge the changing availability of seasonal local produce, whether fine Scottish game, fresh seafood or the many varieties of fish and vegetables: Pan seared Isle of Skye scallops accompanied with a cucumber & vine tomato salsa or charred medallion of Angus beef tenderloin, roasted turnip & haggis gateaux, caramelised red onion marmalade, finished with a burgundy wine reduction.

Good service is regarded as an essential part of the experience and you won't be disappointed.

The wine list is well chosen and contains examples of different styles from all over the world.

Whether enjoying a relaxing time away from your Highland pursuits or a wedding in the magnificent new ballroom with it's floor to ceiling windows, or arranging your corporate strategy in the fully equipped conference facilities, the staff do know how to look after you.

The area boasts many historical sites of interest from Loch Ness to Urquhart and Cawdor Castle of MacBeth fame.
