New contemporary boutique hotel close to Southsea's beachfront and Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard

It was from Southsea Castle in 1545 that Henry VIII witnessed the unfortunate sinking of the Mary Rose - his favourite ship. Just a minute's stroll from Southsea's seafront is Stattons - a brand new boutique hotel housed within an elegant Edwardian mansion. Whilst many of the original features have been retained, the house has undergone a transformation in to a very hip and happening place to stay. The contemporary interiors have classical influences and are absolutely stunning.
