It is home to the exclusive Royal Lymington Yacht Club and, with two busy marinas, attracts yachtsmen from across the globe. The area has a rich nautical heritage with both Nelson's shipyard at Buckler's Hard and Henry VIII's Hurst Castle close by. Stanwell House's handsome Georgian entrance is welcoming and full of atmosphere.
