This imposing stone property dates back to the 1700s. It is situated in the very heart of the Yorkshire Dales, not far from the famous Wensleydale Creamery. Surrounded by stunning countryside, there's plenty of great walking right from the doorstep. Simonstone Hall owns much of the moorland around here as well as a number of fell top lunch huts - which offer some of the best views in the county. When not in use by shooting parties, guests are welcome to use these huts and grand picnic lunches can be prepared. The recently refurbished Brasserie has fantastic views and a menu full of local flavour with such dishes as Yorkshire farmer's mixed grill and haddock in Theakston beer batter. The private dining rooms in the wine vault and wine cellar are understandably popular. The bedrooms are spacious and traditionally furnished. The deluxe rooms have either four-posters or French sleigh beds, plus views of the Dale. All rooms are appointed to a very high standard and there are many luxurious touches such as Egyptian cotton towels and Molton Brown toiletries.
