A gorgeous Cornish country hideaway set in its own secluded, wooded valley

The more energetic can walk to the renowned surf beaches at St Agnes or Perranporth or make the short drive to the city of Truro. Winter's chills are kept at bay by log fires and maybe a steam in the sauna. James and Sara Evans and their friendly team pride themselves on the very best service to ensure that you feel at home and relaxed as soon as you arrive. The house has been used as a hotel since the war. In 1993 the building was sympathetically extended to create a comfortable, homely 18 bedroom country house hotel. The hotels' restaurant, the Valley Restaurant, has an enviable reputation for fine dining food. The head chef, Colin Hankins, sources local produce to create interesting and varied daily menus. For parties of up to 12 people you have the option of making the evening really special by private dining in the lovely old library. Specialities include fresh Cornish seafood treats such as crab and lobster.
