Take 530 acres of gorgeous Irish parkland at the foot of the Wicklow Mountains, convert some ivy-covered Queen Anne stables into a country house and surround it with an 18-hole Championship golf course and you have everything for...
More About Rathsallagh House
a superb holiday - whether or not you play golf!
Rathsallagh House is the home of Joe and Kay O'Flynn, and their welcome is as big as the countryside around them. The house has a happy and relaxed atmosphere reflected in the genial warmth of the log and turf fires blazing away in the reception rooms. Upstairs, bedrooms are luxuriously appointed with views of the park.
The food is country-house cooking at its best, with a light modern influence from head chef John Kostiuk: game in season, fresh fish from the Wexford coast and breakfasts to drool over - after all, Rathsallagh has won the National Breakfast Awards four times! All this is a tribute to Kay's imagination and mastery of the culinary arts.
The Championship golf course has a fantastic setting and was designed by former world amateur champion Peter McEvoy and leading Irish professional Christie O'Connor. The course was recently rated in the top 30 courses in Ireland by John Redmond's 'Ireland's Finest Golf Courses'. Other facilities include a tennis court, billiard room and spa room.
