Raemoir House

As you make your way along the tree-lined drive surrounded by 10 acres of lush parkland and green lawns, you come to a magnificent Aberdeen granite manor ablaze with light in the morning sun. Inside Raemoir House, built in the early 19th century but extensively redeveloped in the Victorian 'Golden Age' of the region, you'll find 20 sumptuous en-suite bedrooms, some with stunning views of the rolling hills and antique furniture. A further six bedrooms are situated in the even older Ha' Hoose (Hall House), directly behind the manor and dating back to 1715. As the sun sets over Aberdeenshire, you are comfortably relaxing with a drink in the elegant former ballroom, before retiring to the majestic wood-paneled dining room to try Raemoir's 2 AA Rosette menu, which includes head chef Matt Dobson's specialty, rare breed Tamworth pork.
