Originally a gunpowder mill, the hotel has been skillfully converted into a country house. Rows of books in the library are kept company by interesting oil paintings on the walls. Elegant furniture is a feature of the PowderMills and is found everywhere from the drawing room to the private Georgian dining room with its enormous antique table.
