The Pines offers its guests creature comforts and the personal touch that is so often lacking in todays hotels, and some of the guest rooms include four poster beds and jaccuzzi baths. The Pines Restaurant, which holds an AA rosette, serves delicious food, with many of the ingredients being farmed locally. This year, for the third year running, the Pines has been awarded the North West in Bloom 'Best Large Hotel' Award. Positioned 3 miles from Chorley and 6 Miles from Englands newest city Preston, Lancashire's 'best kept secret' is less than a mile from the M6, M65 and M61 motorways.
At the weekends the Pines is the hub of entertainment, from the luxuriously refurbished Dixon Suite, where the weekly Cabaret Nights are renowned throughout the area. For a taste of history, explore Chorley's Hoghton Tower. It has been the ancestral home of the De Hoghton family since William the Conqueror and the family still occupies it.
