bedrooms. All bedrooms face either south or southwest, with some overlooking the village pond and mill stream, the remainder the courtyard and walled garden. There is a small oak-beamed bar with a log fire and a large drawing room which, together with the dining room, open onto the stone-flagged terrace looking over the mill stream. The kitchen producues delicious food using the best and freshest local ingredients. Ample car parking is also provided. Harome is a small village less than three miles from the attractive market town of Helmsley and the North York Moors National Park; it is unspoilt, still retaining six thatched cottages (probably more than any village in North Yorkshire). There are seven farms, an inn and both a church and chapel. Or venture further afield and explore historic York - with its magnificent Minster, varied shops, ancient walls and museums.
