More About Osborne House
thrown into utter confusion by the arrival of The Osborne, a recent and splendiferous Maddocks venture that has seen a crumbling 1851 seafront property restored and refurbished in spectacular style and transformed into a stunning all-suites hotel.
To say that Len and Elizabeth Maddocks are excited about their hotel is something of an understatement. It has taken time to complete, as every huge, high-ceilinged room has been immaculately finished and furnished with antiques. The spacious bedrooms have fabulous views of Conwy Bay and Great Ormes Head, king-size brass beds and marble bathrooms (and each suite has its own parking bay at the rear of the property). Guests arrive to a cosy fire twinkling in the grate in winter. Downstairs, the atmospheric Cafe Bistro boasts impressively ornate ceilings, a large fireplace and a high quality brasserie menu served from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Within easy reach of Llandudno are the wilds of Snowdonia, the lovely Bodnant Garden in the Vale of Conwy and Caernarfon.
