Its five bedrooms have been appointed with consummate style and attention to detail, reflecting the rich history and character of the property. Light and elegance pervades every room, with original oak beam ceilings, Sanderson wallpaper, matching fabrics and a gracious country air. Many of the rooms feature fireplaces and stand-alone bathtubs, as well views over the beautiful garden to Ross-on-Wye and the Forest of Dean. Orles Barn's acclaimed head chef and local boy Dan Wall has created a fine dining experience that reflects both his culinary prowess and the quality of this fertile areas fresh produce. From caramelised Madgetts duck breast and seared wild turbot to roast rack of Buckholt lamb and pressed confit Woodland pork belly, the dinner menu is only topped by the carefully selected list of European and New World wines, plus a mouth-watering cheese plate.
