and shopping, it also boasts spectacular views over the harbour and neighbouring Channel Islands of Sark and Herm.
The OGH has been welcoming visitors to Guernsey since 1858 and this year the hotel will celebrate its 150th anniversary with a range of special events and activities. The hotel offers visitors an elegant and superbly comfortable environment appealing to both business and leisure travellers. The wings of the hotel form a courtyard around the attractive pool area, which is a popular spot for al fresco dining in warm weather. Alternatively the hotel's two restaurants, the more informal OGH Brasserie and Bar and the Governor's Fine Dining restaurant both feature the best local and continental produce accompanied by comprehensive wine lists.
For daytime relaxation, the hotel spa has a gym, sauna, solarium and a range of pampering beauty treatments. Further afield, Guernsey is there to explore in all its quiet charm, as are the sister islands and historic French port of St Malo a ferry ride away, plus sport from golf to windsurfing.
