Inspired by the Victorian Neo-Gothic of The Palace of Westminster, Nutfield Priory's original embellishments include towers, elaborate carvings, intricate stonework, cloisters, stained glass and mullioned windows. All remain today in wonderfully restored condition to create an unusual and delightful country house hotel that retains a welcoming ambience still reminiscent of a family home. Its 12 acres of parkland set high on the Nutfield ridge provide wonderful views. The elegant lounges, a library, extensive conference facilities, private dining rooms and a cloistered restaurant create a world far removed from the hectic lifestyle of today, yet the hotel is still within remarkably easy reach of London, its airports and the motorways. Guests have free use of the indoor pool, sauna, spa and fully-fitted gymnasium. Other facilities available include squash, fitness classes, solarium and beauty studio.
