Millstream Hotel and Restaurant is located in the centre of Old Bosham, a delightful sailing village on West Sussex's Chichester Harbour. Bosham is thought to be the birthplace of King Harold and features on the Bayeux Tapestry. Millstream itself is an historic building successfully mixing a sophisticated country house atmosphere with the cosy, endearing features of an 18th century maltings cottage. In the bar you will find a toasty fireplace and in the summer the beautiful gardens make a wonderful place to while away an afternoon. The two AA Rosette restaurant overlooks the gardens and much of the menu changes daily. The food is elegantly presented English cuisine at its finest - much of it locally sourced and matched by an excellent list of fine wines from the renowned cellar. Each bedroom is individually decorated and the living room has fresh flowers, comfortable armchairs and a grand piano. From Bosham, guests can stroll around the harbour, which has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is also possible to charter excursions with a skipper on sailing yachts. Bosham is surrounded by beautiful countryside perfect for walks, including beautiful West Wittering beach. There are also museums, country houses, Arundel Castle and ample shopping and theatre opportunities in nearby Chichester.
