Bedroom décor is in keeping with the centuries-old history of the place, yet the modern amenities you'd want from a luxury boutique hotel are all here. Enjoy Egyptian cotton sheets, flat-screen televisions and Wi-Fi throughout, plus cookies from the chef on arrival. For dining, the ingredients are of high quality and are as locally sourced as possible: meat is bought in from an organic butcher in nearby Burford and organic vegetables from a greengrocer in Stratford. In The Mill Brook restaurant, a meal might begin with hand dived scallops fresh from Looe Harbour in Cornwall and end with exquisite pistachio ice cream. Then there's the Mill Stream Bar, which has a roaring log fire and some lighter meal options. Finally, you've got the Cotswold Lounge for cream teas and snacks.
