More About Maes-y-Neuadd
Maes-y-Neuadd is once again a family home, run by Lynn and Peter Jackson and Peter Payne.
They have lovingly restored and refurbished the house, creating a warm and welcoming haven for travellers from all over the world. The rooms are furnished using a seamless blend of modern craftsmanship and fine antiques, as well as many paintings by local artists. The 85 acres of grounds reflect the beauty of the seasons, nurtured by the mild gulfstream climate.
Chef patron Peter Jackson revels in the quality of the 'natural larder' on his doorstep. To complement the fine lamb, cheese, fish and game for which Wales is renowned, the hotel's garden features an assortment of vegetables, fruit and herbs. The wealth of ancient language, culture and music set this area of Wales apart from the rest of Britain. But with so much to offer, the welcome 'Croeso' - for which Wales is so famous - is nowhere warmer than at Maes-y-Neuadd.
