Looking out over beautiful Loch Sunart, Kilcamb Lodge is the epitome of a luxury country house hotel. The bedrooms all have king sized beds and boast either loch or mountain views. Each is decorated in traditional Scottish country house style with dashes of tartan in each. Rooms all come with flatscreen televisions, DVD players, tea making facilities, hairdryers, toiletries and fluffy bathrobes. Should the weather be slightly inclement, there are guest umbrellas. The lounge bar has comfy sofas and the glow from a burning log fire. The drawing room has a fine selection of books and serves as a great place to relax with the papers. Dogs are so welcome here they can have their own towels after a swim in the loch. The two-AA Rosette Restaurant has candlelight and roses to set a romantic ambiance. Locally sourced meat, fish and game are sourced by Head Chef Gary Phillips, placing a strong focus on flavour as well as presentation. Friendly and good humoured service is what this place is about, so relax and enjoy the 22 adjoining acres where otters, deer, red squirrels and eagles reside.
