More About Harvey's Point Hotel
founder, Jody Gysling, discovered a little piece of his native homeland in this wee corner of Ireland and made it his home. He bought an old cottage surrounded by picturesque swampland from two brothers named Harvey and painstakingly converted it into a hotel oozing in luxury and hospitality.
The rooms are lavishly decorated with comfort and seclusion in mind. There are king size beds and roaming space in the bedrooms and sunken baths surrounded by Italian marble tiling in the bathrooms. An ideal setting for a romantic weekend away. The restaurant offers the very finest Celtic cuisine from Ireland, Scotland, Normandy and Brittany, including foie gras, Scotch haggis and Donegal lamb.
Harvey's Point is the perfect base from which to explore beautiful County Donegal. Local attractions include Glenveagh National Park, Slieve League and the waterbus on Donegal Bay. There is a host of activities in the area ranging from golf at Murvagh or Bundoran to angling, horse riding or simply walking along miles of sandy beaches.
