Whether it's a therapeutic massage, long walks and log fires or a scenic helicopter ride, Felbrigg Lodge is the perfect place to de-stress. The hotel's individually-decorated private suites are graceful and plush - four-poster beds, elaborate wallpaper, tassels, frills and luxurious bathrooms. Like a dining car on the Orient Express, the elegant and intimate Ivy Restaurant prides itself on its home-cooked food using the finest and freshest local ingredients, including the famous Cromer crab, a delicacy from the nearby fishing town. Cromer, as well as Holkham and Overstrand, is home to glorious miles of sandy beaches that are superb all year round. North Norfolk is also angler's dream with trout and sea fishing opportunities aplenty. For a day of refined shopping, make sure to visit Holt, a Georgian market town with an array of delicatessen, fine china and antique shops.
