Comfortable, charming and unpretentious ... it is one of the places to which I keep coming backElizabeth Ortiz, Gourmet magazine
Warmth and charm at the doorstep of Sir Winston Churchill's birthplace, Blenheim Palace

In the heart of picturesque Woodstock lies The Feathers, a privately owned 17th-century townhouse hotel just a minutes walk from the gates of Blenheim Palace, home of the 11th Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston... More About Feathers Churchill.

The Feathers offers the ideal base from which to explore Oxford, its famous University and the beautiful Cotswolds - yet it is only an hour and a half from London.

The hotel has 20 individually designed and furnished bedrooms and suites. All rooms have private bathrooms, satellite television and direct-dial telephones, all offering complete comfort and relaxation.

In winter, log fires blaze in The Bistro, bar and lounges. In warmer months, the courtyard garden, a secluded spot, provides the ideal setting for al-fresco lunches, afternoon teas or simply a refreshing drink.

The Restaurant offers a fine dining experience, a sumptuous menu using the finest ingredients, carefully and simply created by Head Chef, Simon Garbutt. The A la Carte menu changes seasonally and you can also choose from the daily Market Menu.
