complete relaxation.
Purchased in 2006 by Wilf and Terrie Beardsmore, they realised that Dunsley Hall needed to be seen and used for its ambience and beauty. The only way to do this, was to turn it into a boutique hotel along with their son Simon, and daughter-in-law Rebecca helping in the process - truly a family affair.
Each of the nine bedrooms have been individually designed, with antique brass beds in some, four posters in others and twin rooms to suit all. The rooms have luxurious en-suite shower facilities with Molton Brown toiletries to make you feel pampered and relaxed.
In addition to Dunsley Hall, there are beautiful grounds to walk around and take in the atmosphere and fragrances of the gardens which are based on a Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll design. The Victorian Walled Garden with its peach, fig, and orange trees and grape vines is as though time has stood still. Produce is grown to supply the restaurant ensuring fresh ingredients, together with quality meat and fish from trusted local suppliers. The Dunsley Hall Chefs are dedicated to serving fresh modern European food, and although only just open, the reviews have been outstanding.
This part of England offers fascinating glimpses into the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution as well as many rural delights. Dunsley Hall is a perfect base from which to explore Stourbridge and Cadbury World at Bourneville. Birmingham and Ironbridge are within easy reach.
