Music, banter, the sea, the sand and scenery - This is what Dingle Town is all about. Nestled in the craggy embrace of the mountains behind, this small seaside town is lapped by a wide blue ocean, with fishing boats bobbing...
More About Doyles Seafood Bar
merrily in the docks before you.
Brightly painted houses, cosy pubs and winding hilly streets present plenty of charm to warm the heart of the returning rambler or lazy lounger. This area is intensely popular and rightly so. Tens of thousands make the annual pilgrimage here to take a lesson in good living.
Like Dingle, Doyles can lay some claim to fame. The colourful restaurant is well-known for its seafood, plucked fresh from the ocean. Lobster, the house speciality, is chosen from a tank in the bar. The restaurant was built in 1790 as a pub and shop, yet the craic lives on its current incarnation.
The townhouse and Restaurant are interconnected, yet self contained so that guests can come and go in peace. You step from the street into the old fashioned parlour/drawing room with its welcoming open fire, pine floors, grandfather clock, soft furnishing and sofas. The townhouse boasts the best rooms in Dingle with all mod cons and comfortable traditional style with antique furnishings.
