Located just five minutes walk from Dingle Town overlooking beautiful Dingle Bay, Castlewood House is owned by Brian and Helen Heaton, who have both worked in some of Ireland's finest hotels. Brian and Helen strive to offer their guests a home away from home and the sumptuous fixtures and fittings are a testament to their exacting standards. The first impression on entering Castlewood is the spacious and luxurious lobby with large comfortable couches, antiques and paintings. The lovely drawing room features a sandstone fireplace and Victorian and Edwardian antique furniture. Each of the bedrooms is individually designed and offers king or super king size beds with crisp Egyptian sheets and handpicked comforters, TV and CD/DVD players, free W-Fi and nearly all rooms have fabulous views over Dingle Bay. The bathrooms at Castlewood are all tiled either with Villeroy and Boch tiles or marble, plus power showers and full sized whirlpool baths. The dining room is elegant and the walls are adorned with the couple's collection of contemporary art. Enjoy the fabulous views of Dingle Bay while enjoying a delicious breakfast, which at Castlewood is nothing less than a work of art. The menu includes a marvellous choice of cereals, freshly baked bread and scones, Irish cheese and meats, a variety of cooked breakfasts and Castlewood House's (in)famous hot homemade porridge topped with Baileys, Irish Mist or Cooley Distillery Whiskey.
