More About Bonham
world's 'coolest' hotels by Condé Naste Traveller magazine.
The interiors at The Bonham have been created by a leading designer and cleverly incorporate high contemporary style around the existing Victorian features. There is not a shred of chintz in sight: Spacious rooms, large windows and tall ceilings of the period accentuate the uncluttered and bright atmosphere. Colour schemes are fantastic, and the fabrics and furnishings are simply the epitome of modern luxury. Huge, colourful canvasses adorn the walls, making for a truly vibrant stay. Unusual features are revealed throughout the hotel, including an original Edwardian copper bath in one of the superior rooms and a distinctive crimson spiral sofa-bench in the reception.
Whilst stylishly 'cool', there is certainly nothing pretentious about The Bonham. It is an exceptional place in every sense, run with expert professionalism with a wonderful team of staff. The restaurant is striking and lively, serving a grand mix of European-inspired dishes. Better still, The Bonham is located just five minutes walk from Edinburgh's West End, which makes it a very central place to stay for both business and leisure travellers.
