Known the world over for its Cathedral, which houses the Mappa Mundi and the Chained Library, Hereford is a fascinating destination for a short break. It is surrounded by stunning scenery, and the Wye Valley and the Brecon Beacons are only a short drive away. Aylestone Court has retained many original features such as the lovely shuttered windows, marble fireplaces, sparkling chandeliers and period antiques. It is discreetly elegant throughout yet has a cosy, homely air. The bedrooms are attractively appointed and very comfortable.
