Only a three minute walk from the Bronte Parsonage, and itself the former home of Dr. Ingham, the Bronte family physician, the Ashmount is perched on the very moors which inspired Britain's most famous literary family. The house retains many of its Victorian details, from antique furnishings and comfy four poster beds to original stained glass windows, while adding more modern touches such as luxury hot tubs, plasma screen TVs, wi-fi, and power showers with adjustable body jets. Breakfast is an important meal in Yorkshire, and the Ashmount's traditional breakfast, with wholesome and delicious locally sourced food, is the perfect way to fuel up for a day out on the moors. The house is surrounded by almost an acre of beautiful gardens, providing stunning views over the surrounding landscape. The moors are a paradise for walkers, with trails suiting every ability nearby. Or, if you prefer to ride, take the historic Worth Valley Steam Railway through the beautiful countryside.
