Newly refurbished, the Ambassador occupies a quaint townhouse dating back to 1890 and the hotel has retained a lot of the Victorian charm, especially in the main lounge room, where the old fireplace roars into life in the winter. As you walk into the large dining room conservatory, you're bathed in light from the wonderful view of the rear garden where you can relax with a good book, a glass of wine or a cup of tea.

The hotel's rooms are individually appointed with modern amenities such as CD and DVD plays and fine Egyptian cotton, most have an en suite bathroom and four-poster beds.
