Wallington Hall dates from 1688 and boasts fine interiors, a superb collection of ceramics and William Bell-Scott's famous paintings of Northumbrian history but still retains the atmosphere of a much loved family home. Opening Times: House: 1 Apr - 30 Sept: daily (except Tues), 1 - 5.30pm. 1 Oct - 31 Oct: daily (except Tues), 1 - 4.30pm. Gardens: daily, 10am - 7pm (summer). Grounds: all year
