Working mill, built in 1835. It is typical of the mills in the Lake district which supplied the spinning and weaving industry in Lancashire. Open late March - late October, daily. Early November - late March, Wed - Sun only. Closed 24-26 December. Ground floor only, suitable for disabled visitors. "English Heritage Photographic Library"
