Risley Hall and Gardens, a manor house dating back to the 15th century, was built by Sir Michael Willoughby. The formal gardens extend to 12 acres and include the Grade II* listed stone terrace which extends to 200 metres above a moated stream overlooking the great lawn with its golden yews. The house has had many extensions in the 17th, 18th and 19th century, all of which have given the hall outstanding character. Opening Times: All year: daily, 2 - 5pm
