One of the greatest medieval buildings in England
The Palace was the chief residence of the Bishops of Winchester. Its extensive ruins still reflect their importance and wealth. The last great occasion was on 25th July 1554 when Queen Mary and Philip of Spain held their wedding breakfast in the East Hall. Suitable for people with disabilities.
