Delightful family home with stunning gardens
One of the most extraordinary houses in Suffolk. The site of the old college is of rare historical and archaeological interest and is associated with The Black Prince, Mary Tudor, Henry VIII and the de la Pole family. Its unusual gardens include the eighteenth century carriage driveway, a William and Mary walled garden with radical modern planting, mediaeval fishponds, wild flower and orchid meadows, woodland walks, many old fashioned roses and a unique eccentric topiary garden on the site of the mediaeval courtyard. The College and gardens will be open to the public on the following dates for pre-booked tours, starting at 2.30 pm: 15th May, 19th June, 3rd July and 11th September. Admission is £13 per person
